About Our Webinars

It's like attending a live seminar minus the difficulty! Let the seminar come right to your computer screen! Avoid the expense and hassle of travel, the time in a too hot or too cold facility, the hard, folding chair, and possible exposure to colds and flu.

Our webinars are presented live. As a webinar participant, you will see a presentation on your screen and hear the presenter's commentary. You will be able to ask questions and make comments (providing you have a microphone installed on your computer).

Bright Spot, Inc. is an authorized FAA Training Provider. Our webinars are of the highest quality in terms of content, graphics, and presentation. All webinars are designed and presented by Gene Benson, a professional aviation educator, experienced flight instructor, and FAASTeam Lead Representative. Some webinars are eligible for FAA Wings credit. Those webinars can be identified by the colored credit icon.

Registration and participation is easy. Simply select a webinar and click on the "Register" button. You will be directed to a payment page. After making your payment, you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive your login instructions and password via a separate email.

Receiving Wings Credit for Webinar Participation

The process for receiving the appropriate Wings credit for webinar participation works very much like the way credit is awarded for safety seminar attendance. Registration is completed using the email account that is used on faasafety.gov. During the webinar, a panel is open on the presenter's screen showing who is logged in. This is the equivalent of the sign-in sheet used during live seminars. Within 24 hours of webinar completion, credit is awarded and participants receive a verification email from the FAA.
