What are the system requirements to participate in the ground school? How many people will be participating? Do I need a microphone and speakers? Q: What are the system requirements to participate in a ground school? A: Bright Spot Inc. subscribes to a commercial webinar service provider and has no control over the system requirements. Our experience has shown that most "standard" computer systems will work as long as high speed Internet service is available. Marginal Internet connections may produce some breaks in the audio stream and other minor interruptions. Very high settings on virus protection or firewalls sometimes interfere with the ability to connect to the service. The system is supposed to work with Mac computers and generally does. Q: How many people will be participating? A: The maximum number of attendees is limited to 25 so that all questions can be answered and meaningful discussion can take place. A microphone or microphone/headset combination is necessary only if you would like to participate in discussions. Q: Will I have an opportunity to participate in discussions? A: Please register for the course using your FAASafety.gov email so that you can receive Wings credit for the course. Payment is made securely via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to register; any major credit card can be used. Within 24 hours after your payment is completed, you will receive an email containing your unique log-in link. Please save that email. You will log into each session by simply clicking on the log-in link or copying it and pasting it into your browser. Q: What if I miss a session? In case that happens, an opportunity is provided to complete a missed session via an online session specific to the missed session.
